Cardiff Central

British Rail Cardiff Central Station
Cardiff Central, in the middle of the capital of Wales, and just a short journey down the line to Canton Depot, famous for the fleets of Class 37's and the valley lines. The station car park is quite handy and is not badly priced, The station operates barriers so I purchased a ticket to the nearest station, Ninian Park, which was £2.90. The staff seemed to be used to seeing train enthusiasts and were quite tolerant of me wandering around. Saying hello and being generally chatty.
It is a fairly small station but with a lot going on. Plenty of units and usually freight too, although the freight was a little light on the day of my visit, maybe due to the Christmas period.

My visit was 02/01/2020, below is a list of what I saw.
